Watch: Sawt of Lions Seen on the Streets at Night in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: A video of a pride of lions walking on the street at night in Gujarat is going viral on social media. The video was shared by Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda.

In the video clip,  a group of eight lions can be seen loitering through the streets near a residential area. The road is seen to be empty, but what if there was a pedestrian nearby? At the end of the clip, some vehicles can be seen approaching with blinking headlights trying to get a pass without a scratch.

This video clip has got mixed reactions from the audience. Some said, “Dangerous as well”; “It is obvious that the Gir sanctuary is overflowing with lions, and some of them must be translocated elsewhere”; “Is it a pride or pity to see this beautiful pride roaming in the concrete jungle .. sad”.
