Why PFI got banned? Government counted this big reason for action

New Delhi: The Central government has taken major action on the Popular Front of India related to the Terror Funding Case. Due to terrorist funding and other activities of PFI, the Ministry of Home Affairs has banned PFI in the country for five years. Apart from this, allied organizations of PFI have also been banned.

For this, a notification has also been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs. It has been clearly stated by the Ministry of Home Affairs that PFI and its affiliates have links with international terrorist organizations like the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. Not only this, this organization is promoting fundamentalism to a particular community in the country.

Along with this, they also fund terrorism, which also includes Rehab India Foundation (RIF), Campus Front of India (CFI), All India Imam Council (IIC), National Confederation of Human Rights Organization (NCHRO), National Women’s Front, Junior Front. Due to this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has banned 8 other organizations including PFI for five years.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that PFI and its affiliated organizations work towards weakening the concept of democracy by radicalizing a section of the society under covert agenda and showing gross disrespect towards the constitutional rights and constitutional structure of the country. These organizations are against the integrity, sovereignty, and security of the country. Their actions are spoiling the atmosphere of communal harmony. This is also giving rise to terrorist activities.

Not only this, some of the founding members of the PFI have been leaders of the banned organization Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). Apart from this, the PFI has also been associated with the banned organization Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). Along with this, the PFI has also been in constant contact with many international organizations including the global terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

PFI has been involved in many criminal-terrorist cases. It insults the constitutional right of the country. With funding and ideological support from external sources, it has become a major threat to the internal security of the country. The investigation has revealed that PFI and its cadres have been repeatedly involved in violent activities. These include chopping off a professor’s hand, killing people affiliated with organizations following other religions, obtaining explosives to target prominent people and places, and damaging public property.

PFI officials and other cadres associated with it are collecting money from within and outside India through banking channels, hawala, donations, etc as part of a well-planned criminal conspiracy, then passing it through multiple accounts to legitimize that money. Do layering and integration. This money is used for criminal, illegal, and terrorist activities. Many states had demanded a ban on the same PFI. In which the state governments of Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, etc. are included.
