‘World Tourism Day’ special art by International Sand Artist

Puri: On the eve of World Tourism Day, International Sand Artist, Mr. Manas Kumar Sahoo of Puri, commemorates “The World Tourism Day” by putting in his best efforts to promote Odisha’s Art Culture worldwide.

He has beautifully and minutely sculpted a replica of the World Famous Konark Temple with sand on the golden sea beach of Puri, Odisha, which is one of the important heritages of the  Odisha Style of Architecture thus promoting Odisha’s Culture.

This sand sculpture is 3 feet wide and about  3 quintals of sand have been consumed in sculpting it, in which a message has been carved which reads as “Welcome to Odisha” and “World Tourism day”.
