Young Engineer Drowns at Waterfall in Jharsuguda District

Jharsuguda: A young engineer reportedly died of drowning at a waterfall in Jharsuguda district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Brajeswar Behera of Bhubaneswar. He was an employee of a private firm in Sambalpur district.

He met with the accident while he was on a picnic with his friends at the waterfall at Koilighugar under Rengali police station limits in the Sambalpur district.

While bathing in the waterfall, Brajeswar slipped and went missing. Personnel of the police and Fire services found the body of Brajeswar after a long search. Rengali police have registered a case of unnatural death and started an investigation. In a similar accident, two brothers died of drowning while taking a selfie near a waterfall in Malkangiri district on Saturday.
