Youth Goes Missing in Luna River in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: A youth went missing while bathing in the Luna river near Nagamatha in the Nischinatakoili block of Odisha’s Cuttack district.

The youth was identified as Raj Kumar Senapati of Buhala village.

According to sources, Raj along with a few of his friends had gone to bathe in the Luna river in the afternoon today after playing Holi. While bathing the victim was swept away due to the current in the river. His friends reported the matter to the Fire Service.

On being informed, Fire Service personnel reached the spot and launched an operation to rescue him.
