Youth Kills Brother & Sister-in-Law Due Land Dispute in Balasore; 2 Arrested

Balasore: A youth allegedly killed his brother and sister-in-law for a piece of land in Sabira under Soro police limits of Odisha’s Balasore district. Police have arrested two people with this connection.

The accused were identified as Madhusudhan Behera and his associate Manas Jena. The victims were identified as Raghunath Behera and his wife Parvati.

As per the police reports, Madhusudhan had planned the murder three months back after having a fight with Raghunath over land.

According to sources, Raghunath Behera and his wife went to the farmhouse at Balipadiya in Muni Sabi. As the couple was attacked by the miscreants, hearing the screams of both the husband and the wife, the villagers rushed to the spot. They found the couple lying dead with slitted necks.
