Youth Trampled to Death by Wild Elephant in Sundargarh Dist

Sundargarh: A youth was trampled to death by a wild elephant at Jharipani slum under the Koida forest range in Sundargarh district on Monday morning.

The deceased, identified as Samuel Sainda, faced the elephant attack while he had gone to attend to nature’s call. The victim was crushed by the pachyderm with wits feet.

After getting information, forest officials along with the local police reached the village, seized the body and started an investigation into the incident.
