12 Bengal Tourists Injured As Mini-Bus Overturns In Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: A sightseeing trip for tourists from West Bengal turned into a nightmare on Friday when their mini-bus overturned in Odisha’s Ganjam district. According to reports, at least 12 tourists sustained injuries, some critical, due to suspected brake failure.

The group, hailing from West Bengal’s Nadia district, had rented the mini-bus in Berhampur and embarked on a morning excursion. Their itinerary included visiting the Khunteswari temple followed by Daringibadi.

Tragedy struck while the bus was descending a hill after visiting the temple. The driver lost control of the vehicle due to an apparent brake malfunction, causing the bus to overturn on a sharp turn.
