2 Killed, 18 Injured In Lightning Strike In Sundergarh

 Sundergarh: Two persons were killed while 18 others sustained serious injuries due to lightning strike at Baneilata village in Nuagaon block in Sundergarh district today.

The calamity struck when a group of children were playing football on the field.

According to reports, the deceased and injured were spectators.

They were first shifted to Hatibari primary healthcare centre and later shifted to a hospital in Rourkela.

A pall of gloom descended on Baneilata village following the tragedy.
