35-Yr-Old Man Arrested for Raping Divyang Woman in Balasore Dist

Balasore: A 35-year-old man was arrested on Saturday for the alleged rape of a physically-challenged woman near Manipur village under Soro police station in Balasore district on Saturday.

The arrested accused was identified as Baidhar Singh (35) of Gajaamba village under Aupada police station limits. It is alleged that he raped the divyang woman in a forest near Manipur Khunta in Balasore district.

Some villagers of Khunta discovered the injured woman in the forest and informed the police.

The accused was nabbed from the Gajaamba village. A case was registered in this connection. Investigation is underway.
