5 Arrested For Raising Anti-National Slogans in Bihar

Patna: Five people were arrested by the Bhojpur police on accusation of yelling “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans after winning a local badminton match.

Four of the five accused were identified as Mohammad Tanvir Alam, Mohammad Arman, Kallu, and Sonu.

Police swung into action to nab the accused individuals after a video of the victory march with the accused chanting the slogans was posted on social media.

An official stated that the badminton match took place on Tuesday night. The victorious team received a trophy from the event’s organizers, and the players marched in celebration around the town while chanting victory slogans.

“The footage is authentic, according to our investigation. We have located the culprits and arrested them based on the content. They are currently being questioned,” said Sanjay Kumar Singh, the Bhojpur police superintendent.
