Allegation of rape after kidnapping of minor due to political enmity

Bargarh: News of abducting a minor girl due to political agitation, she has been accused of rape has come to light. Such a shocking incident took place in Firingimal, Gaisilet police station of Bargarh district. The minor’s father has alleged that she was raped after the abduction based on previous political enmity. Later, a 5-member team of Bargarh police arrived at Balangir Medical College Hospital for investigation.

A police team led by Padampur SDPO Bibhuthi Bhoi has started interrogation with Gaisilet police officer Birbar Bhagat.

According to information, the minor was kidnapped by two men yesterday afternoon around 2 o’clock. Today at 7 a.m., the police rescued the minor girl in the presence of her family members. She was first shifted to Bargarh Medical Center after Gaisilet was in a poor condition. She has been admitted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Balangir due to her critical condition. The minor’s condition is still critical and she is unconscious.
