Archana Nag Demands CBI Probe, Says She Was Arbitrarily Arrested

Bhubaneswar: Blackmail and honey trap accused Archana Nag appeared before a local court on Monday following the petition of the Enforcement Directorate.

While responding to media queries after appearing before Court, Archana demanded a CBI probe into the allegations lodged against her.

Speaking to media persons outside the court in Bhubaneswar, she said, “It is a well-scripted movie. Where are the so-called victims? I was arbitrarily arrested. My family members are under constant surveillance.”

“I have not taken any money from Akshay Parija (Odia film producer). Why Sradhanjali is hiding? I want an investigation of every single thing. The truth will come out only if a probe is done,” she added.

“For six days I could not figure out what was happening to me. I was brought to court with my face and eyes covered. I want a CBI probe into the matter,” she stated.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has sought permission from the court to take Archana Nag on a remand for a period of 15 days.

Nag is accused of blackmailing and honey trapping a number of bigwigs including politicians, film producers, and others. She is stated to have amassed crores of rupees which are disproportionate to her known sources of income.
