Balasore Train Tragedy: School Building Where Bodies Were Kept To Be Demolished!

Bhubaneswar: The building of the Bahanaga Bazar High School, where the bodies of the train accident victims were kept, might be demolished, said Balasore Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde after visiting the educational institution.

The Collector said, “The school managing committee will decide whether the particular building will be demolished or not. The students are apprehending that ‘ghosts’ are present in the building. However, such notions are baseless. It’s our duty to develop scientific temper among the students.”

The train accident involving Coromandel Express, SMVP-Howrah Superfast Express and a goods train at Bahanaga on June 2 has claimed at least 288 lives and over 900 injured.
