BJP Activists Lodge FIRs At Police Stations Across Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha BJP units in various districts have lodged FIR against Odisha DGP, twin city Police Commissioner and Bhubaneswar DCP at police stations across Odisha today.

As per reports, the Bhubaneswar unit of BJP lodges FIRs at Kharvel Nagar, Chandrasekharpur and Airfield police stations against DGP, Bhubaneswar DCP, twin city police commissioner

The saffron party’s such a step to register its protest against the “police excesses” inflicted on its workers here a few days back.

The party also staged demonstrations in front of all Superintendents of Police (SPs) offices as stated by BJP State general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan yesterday.

Notably, many Bharatiya Janata Yova Morcha (BJYM) activists were injured in police attack during a protest rally organised by it over the deteriorating law and order situation at the Lower PMG here on Wednesday.

Harichandan too stated that party activists will move courts across the State if their FIRs are not accepted at police stations today.

A scuffle erupted between them and the police as they attempted to march towards the Assembly.
