Sundargarh: A car caught fire at a filling station in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Sunday evening, but the driver managed to escape unharmed.
The incident occurred at a petrol pump along National Highway 143 near Deogaon. According to witnesses, the car’s engine emitted flames and smoke just as the driver was preparing to leave the filling station. The driver quickly exited the vehicle, and the fire quickly engulfed the entire car.
The Fire Brigade was promptly called to the scene and extinguished the fire. The incident caused a brief disruption in vehicular traffic on National Highway 143.
Despite the intensity of the blaze, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
