Car washed away in Athagarh flood water: 4 people almost lost their lives

Athagarh: Flooding has occurred in the state’s floodplains due to low-pressure rains. In the meantime, many highways have been closed due to floodwaters in the Athagarh area of Cuttack district. Meanwhile, the news of a car floating in the flood has come to light. Firefighters have rescued 4 people in the car.

However, it seems that the car got stuck in the pothole of the old Cuttack-Sambalpur road. They were trapped in the water from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am. The car floated in Nidhipur pothole on the road. 4 passengers got out of the car but got trapped in the water.
