Filmy Friday: Odisha Audience Witness Simultaneous Release After Years

Bhubaneswar: Odisha cine lovers were treated rather well today, as the industry presented two high-octane entertainers to its viewers. Jhilik Bhattacharjee starrer “Rudrani” and “Tu Mora Ok” starring Jyoti and Sheetal were the two movies that rocked the theatres on Friday.

Jhilik Bhattacharjee starrer Rudrani-The Power of Women produced under her own banner, Jhillik Motion Pictures, is a women-focused story in which the actress will be seen portraying the main character. The movie illustrates how lies may conceal the truth.

Subhasish Sharma, Lohitakshya Pattnaik, Muskan, Bapibabu, Pintu Nanda, Jiban Panda, Ilu Banarjee, Pratibha Panda, Subhankari, Anuradha, Guddu, Amar, Swaraj, and Dharitri are among the other actors in the movie. While the dialogues were written by Dr. Rajani Ranjn, K. Muralikrishna has written the screenplay and directed the film, and Prem Anand composed the soundtrack. Around 26 theatres in the state and one multiplex in Bhubaneswar have shown the movie.

Additionally, Siddharth Music’s 31st movie, “Tu Mora Ok,” which is produced by Sitaram Agrawal, also hit the theatres today. The film’s lead characters will be played by actors Jyoti and Sheetal. The two will appear on screen for the first time for the audience.

Actors Usashi Mishra, Satyaki Mishra, Pragnya, and Pratibha Panda are also featured in the film. The movie was made under Mrutunjay Sahoo’s direction. The film’s music was written by Arun Mantri, while Asad Nizam composed the soundtrack, and Nirmal Nayak wrote the storyline.

Notably, this is after a long time since the Odia industry will witness a simultaneous release.
