Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Bhubaneswar Airport After Bird Hit

Bhubaneswar: A Pune-bound flight of AirAsia made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar following a bird hit on Thursday.

According to reports, the flight was hit by a bird soon after it took off from BPIA.

Following this, the aircraft had not suffered any major damage. A damage assessment of the aircraft was carried out after it made the emergency landing.

Flight services were delayed by nearly two hours causing severe resentment among the passengers. The AirAsia flight was later cleared for take-off after a thorough check-up.
