Fraudster Cheating Job Aspirants Arrested By Nabarangpur Police

Nabarangpur: Nabarangpur police nabbed a fraudster in Koraput district’s Jeypore area this morning. Police had received several complaints against the accused. He had allegedly defrauded job seekers of thousands of rupees.

The conman, identified as Laxmidhar Sahoo is a resident of Khurdha district’s Bharatpur. The accused was immediately forwarded to court upon arrest.

Under the guise of a fictitious organisation, Laxmidhar allegedly published fake job advertisements in various publications for security guard positions. He was using this to gather money from candidates online.

Two young women cheated by him complained to the Nabarangppur police, which brought the situation to light. Consequently, Nabarangpur police investigated the matter and arrested the scammer.
