IMD predicts formation of low pressure around October 20

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that a cyclonic circulation formed over the south Andaman Sea and neighborhood, on Monday.

As per the previous forecast, a low-pressure area is likely to form under its influence over the southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal around October 20.

It is likely to move west-north-westwards towards west-central and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal and become more marked during the subsequent 48 hours, informed IMD.
