Its Time To Topple BJD Govt In State: Odisha BJP Chief Manmohan Samal

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the 2024 elections, the centre-ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has geared up in Odisha with its new state president and the saffron party has started countering the current state government.

Reportedly, newly appointed Odisha BJP chief Manmohan Samal accorded a grand welcome at the party head office in Bhubaneswar on Sunday and attacked BJD on the same day he said that this is the time to topple down the conch party.

Speaking on this occasion, Samal said, “In 2000, we toppled the Congress government. Now, we have taken a vow to topple the BJD. When the common people become angry and dead set on doing something, no one can stop them. They are now angry with the government.”

“We may get either three months or six months or nine months. But we are always ready for the election. Neither will we sleep nor will we let anyone sleep. Naveen Babu we will not let you sleep,” he said.

Alleging that the BJD has destroyed a political system in Odisha, Samal said Naveen Babu knows the art of diverting any issue.

Reportedly, BJP National President JP Nadda on Thursday appointed Samal as Odisha’s party State President. Samal will replace the present chief Samir Mohanty.

Samal had earlier served as the Odisha BJP President twice. He was also a minister during the BJD-BJP coalition government in Odisha.

Samal was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Dhamnagar Constituency in 2004.
