Jatani Youth Falls Victim To Nude Video Call, Duped Of Rs 70K

Bhubaneswar: A youth in the Jatani area has been duped of Rs 70,000 after attending a nude call on Wednesday.

The victim, identified as Bipin Kumar Muduli has lodged a complaint with the Cyber police, Bhubaneswar in this connection.

According to the complaint, Muduli responded to a nude call, sent by an unknown caller late at night on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, another anonymous caller dialed him and personified him as a senior IPS officer. During a few minutes of conversation, he informed that Muduli has made the nude video of a girl on social media for which he is going to be punished as per law.

Subsequently, he chatted with Muduli on WhatsApp in police uniform and duped of Rs 70,000 from him tactfully, assuring legal assistance for his crime.

The Cyber Police has registered a case and initiated an investigation into it.
