Jesus had lived in Jagannath Puri and learnt Vedas, claims Aquarian Gospel

Some followers of Jesus do believe that Jesus had visited India during his youth and spent several years in Puri.

But a section of Christians and believers of Jesus do believe that Jesus had visited India during his youth and spent several years in Puri. The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ (which is also known as ‘The Aquarian Age Gospel of Jesus, the Christ of the Piscean Age’) describes time and life of Jesus in Puri, the abode of Lord Jagannath.

Around 18 years of Jesus’ youth from 13 to 30 years of age has not been described in the New Testament of the Bible. These are called the ‘lost years’. The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ claims to be providing the true story of the life of Jesus including the ‘lost’ 18 years. This book depicts Jesus to have visited Jagannath Puri. He is claimed to have lived with the priests of Puri to learn the Vedas. Quoting this book, many claim that Jesus the Christ was a devotee of Lord Jagannath. This gospel also mentions that Jesus had also attended Rathyatra and had given discourse in Cuttack.

Aquarian Gospel authored by Levi H. Dowling was first published in 1908. Dowling claimed that he had transcribed it from the Akashic Records or the divine documentation of all hapenings of the world. This Records. The Aquarian Gospel also describes Jesus’ life during the ‘lost years’ when he is said to have also traveled Tibet, Persia, Greece and Egypt along with Puri in India.
