Mystery Shrouds Retired Headmaster’s Mutilated Body Recovered From Railway Track

Sambalpur: The body of a retired teacher has been recovered from railway tracks at Takba Road near City Station in Sambalpur district on Tuesday.

The deceased, identified as Khirod Nath, is a retired headmaster of Tamperkela High School. He is suspected to have committed suicide after being harassed by his colleagues.

According to reports, the matter came to light this morning when locals spotted the mutilated body of Nath. Subsequently, they informed the same to Government Railway Police (GRP).

On being informed, police rushed to the spot, recovered the body, and seized a suicide note from the spot apart from his cycle and slippers.

In the suicide note, the deceased blamed some of his former colleagues for taking this drastic step.

Following the seizure of the suicide note, the deceased’s family members alleged the role of his colleagues in his death and demanded an investigation into the matter.

In the suicide note, he had held four colleagues responsible for his death. Besides, he had mentioned the reasons for his taking to the extreme step. Apart from taking stringent action against his colleagues, Nath demanded justice for his family, reports added.
