New Odia Love Triangle Film ‘Adhura Prema Kahani’ To Hit Theatres This January

Bhubaneswar: Upcoming Odia film ‘Adhura Prema Kahani’ starring Subhasish (Mantu), Poonam Mishra and Suryamayee Mohapatra is all set to release in January this year.

The makers launched the official poster has been released and the film is earning mixed responses from netizens.

According to reports, the Odia movie directed by Niranjan Barik and Ashutosh Das will definitely entertain its audience at the end of this winter.

Apart from these three young and dynamic actors, noted Odia actor Ashrumachan Mohanty, romantic actor Sritam Das, and well-known comedy actors Jeban Panda and Prangan Khatua have played significant roles to make this film worthy.

Acclaimed Bollywood actor, Paresh Rawal also praised the film and wished great success for it.

Priyabrata Panda penned the story of the movie while popular music director Baidanath Dash composed the music for the movie. Leading Odia singers, Aseema Panda, Humane Sagar, Arpita Chowdhury, Kuldip, R. Ankita, and Sisir Kumar Dash have sung the songs of ‘Adhura Prema Kahani’.

Actor-producers Rajat Mohapatra and Jyotikishore Dash signified a different tease of the movie, which showcases a triangular love story. The film is produced under Maa Durga Rajat Jyoti Production banner.

Speaking to Odisha Bhaskar English, producer, Rajat Mohapatra said, “Odia film industry is one of the oldest movie industries. But, the audience almost left watching Odia films after many started copying from Tollywood and Bollywood. However, we want to bring back the magic of the Odia language through this film. I hope, this film will make Odia people love their regional film. Besides, ‘Adhura Prema Kahani’ offers high-quality cinematography.”

When asked about the music of the film, Mohapatra said, “Well we have added five songs in the movie, and all of them are composed by Baidanath Dash. I am very positive about the music becoming a super hit in the coming days and will be heard playing in every public place. There are four romantic songs, two for each actress with the hero Mantu. The songs are so fabulous that they will definitely make everyone get up from their seats and groove to their beats. Lastly, there is one sad song which defines a lot about our main character.”

Although the makers have not announced a release date for the movie, Mr Mohapatra said that they are planning to get the movie to hit the screens this month.
