OPSC To Declare ASO Written Exam Result In November First Week

Bhubaneswar: The result of one of the most-participated competitive examinations–Assistant Section Officer (ASO) is likely to be published in the first week of November.

This information has been provided by the examination conducting body, Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) chairman, Dr. Satyajit Mohanty.

Though the commission has not made any official announcement yet regarding the declaration of the result, aspirants who appeared in the recruitment examination are eagerly waiting for the result and continuously posting their queries on Twitter.

Meanwhile, some aspirants have urged the OPSC to announce the result publishing date.

As OPSC chairman Dr. Mohanty, a former IPS officer, earlier, who has also been seen replying to aspirants’ queries, answered an aspirant named Ankit Kumar on Wednesday.

Replaying to him, OPSC Chairman, Dr. Mohanty said, “OPSC strives to stick to the committed timeline. Since the results are to be published by end of Nov. in all likelihood the written results should be published by the first week of Nov.”

Notably, the OPSC had conducted the ASO examination on August 27 to fill up as many as 796 (265 women) Group-B posts in the Odisha Secretariat Service.

The annual recruitment calendar of OPSC for 2022-23 says the skill test for the qualified candidates will be conducted and results will be published in the month of November.
