To Ease Traffic, Orissa HC Bans Decoration Gates on Cuttack Roads During Dussehra

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court has issued orders to prevent congestion and ensure safety during the upcoming Dussehra festival in Cuttack city.

The court has prohibited the construction of decoration gates on roads and directed the removal of overhanging cables and wires.

Additionally, the court has expressed concern over the poor condition of the roads in Cuttack. The Secretary of the Work Department has assured that road repair work will be completed by October 5.

Earlier, the court had instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Police to submit an affidavit detailing measures to prevent noise pollution during Durga Puja festivities in Cuttack.
