Orissa High Court Celebrates 75 Years, President Murmu Emphasizes Technological Advancements

Cuttack: President Droupadi Murmu addressed the valedictory function of the 75 years celebrations of the Orissa High Court today, acknowledging its significance as a reflection of Odisha’s aspirations. She praised the court for embracing technological advancements in delivering justice.

President Murmu emphasized the importance of speedy dispensation of justice, urging all involved with the Orissa High Court to set an example for the nation. She highlighted the need to consider the backward classes while adhering to Mahatma Gandhi’s principles.

In her address, President Murmu expressed concern over the suffering caused by delayed justice, leading to frustration for victims and prolonged stays in jails. She stressed that swift justice benefits both victims and innocent individuals, especially the underprivileged sections of society.

The program saw the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal, Law Minister Jagannath Saraka, and High Court Chief Justice S. Muralidhar.
