Petrol, Diesel Price Update: Check Rates In Odisha On Oct 31

Bhubaneswar: The petrol and diesel rates depend upon various factors like local taxes, Value Added Taxes, freight charges, etc, which show that prices are aligned to the market prices, international benchmark, and foreign exchange rates.

The price for petrol in Bhubaneswar has been recorded at Rs.103.11 and the diesel price for today is Rs. 94.68.

In Cuttack, the fuel price has decreased. The petrol and diesel prices are recorded at Rs 103.54 and Rs 95.10, respectively.

Whereas petrol in Dhenkanal costs Rs 103.98, Diesel is being sold at Rs 95.52. Petrol in Puri costs Rs 103.61 a litre and diesel is being traded at Rs 95.02. The petrol and diesel prices in Sambalpur have been recorded at Rs 103.85 and Rs 94.81 respectively.

The cost of petrol in Malkangiri has been recorded as the highest in the state and is now at Rs 108.92 per litre, while the cost of diesel is Rs 100.28 per litre.

It is followed by Nabarangapur and Koraput, where the prices of petrol today are Rs 108.13 per litre and Rs 107.79 per litre respectively while the diesel price in Nabarangapur and Koraput stood the same is Rs 99.53 and Rs 99.21 per litre respectively.

Fuel prices are continuously updated based on the dynamic fuel pricing system. The exchange rate between the Rupee and the US dollar, the price of crude oil, regional trends, and the demand for fuel are only a few of the variables that affect costs.

Since a new mechanism was put in place in June 2017, fuel prices get reviewed every day at 6 AM.
