PM Modi Urges Odisha to Embrace BJP, Promises Development Acceleration

Nabarangpur: At a compelling rally in Chikili, Nabarangpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a passionate plea to the voters of Odisha, advocating for unanimous support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) across all 21 Lok Sabha seats.

Invoking the revered ‘Jay Jagannath’, he highlighted the synergy of a ‘double-engine’ government, with both the Centre and state working in tandem to fast-track Odisha’s development.

PM Modi confidently forecasted a political upheaval in the forthcoming Assembly elections, with the BJP poised to take the reins and invited the crowd to the swearing-in ceremony of a BJP Chief Minister in Bhubaneswar on June 10.

Commending the Odisha BJP for the proactive release of their manifesto, the ‘Sankalp Patra’, he stressed its strategic vision for Odisha’s swift progress, including the transformative ‘Subhadra Yojana’ for women’s financial empowerment. Moreover, Modi guaranteed the establishment of ‘Odia Samudaya Bhawan’ in major cities to support the Odia community nationwide.

Criticizing the current BJD-led state government, PM Modi accused it of obstructing central initiatives and misappropriating credit for subsidized rice provisions.

He also highlighted the disparity in paddy procurement prices between Odisha and BJP-governed Chhattisgarh, promising parity if the BJP is elected.
