Prof Chakradhar Tripathi Is Set To Become New VC Of Central University Of Odisha

Koraput: After over a year of the post lying vacant, Central University of Odisha is set to get its new vice-chancellor.

According to government sources, Prof Chakradhar Tripathi from Visva Bharati is set to be appointed as the new vice-chancellor of the Koraput based varsity.

Tripathi is a faculty member of Hindi in Visva Bharati. The post has been lying vacant since July 2021 after the death of incumbent VC Prof I Ramabrahamam.

Meanwhile, the university is running with just 11 per cent of sanctioned faculty strength and Prof S.K Palita has been appointed as VC in-charge after Prof Ramabramham passed away.
