Students, Teachers Suffer Bee Stings While Going To Exam Centre in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A swarm of bees has become a headache for an exam centre at Harichandanpur in Odisha’s Keonjhar district.

According to reports, 50 students and teachers of an exam centre at Harichandanpur were stung by a swarm of bees on Monday.

The condition of two of them – teacher Kishore Chandra Mohanty and a student Biswanath Juanga – is said to be serious.

According to reports, the incident occurred at around 7.30 am when the students and teachers were on their way to the Girls’ High School in Harichandanpur.

While most students could run to safety after the attack, Mohanty and Juanga tripped while running and suffered severe bee stings.

Some of the students were given first-aid treatment before they could answer their papers. Meanwhile, some of the students took the exams while withering in pain due to the bee stings.
