Two arrested in Fake Medicine Case in Cuttack

Cuttack: Two persons have been arrested in connection with the racket involving the manufacturing and sale of fake spurious blood pressure medicines in Cuttack.

The total number of arrests in fake medicine case has been rose to eight.

The two accused are chemists who had been purchasing fake medicines from two pharmaceutical distributors who had been arrested in a similar case.

Previously, police had arrested Alok Kumar Mishra, Harish Kumar, Rahul Kyal, and Sanjay Jalan in this connection.

A special team of police with the Assistant Drug Controller had recently visited Gaya and Patna to carry out an investigation related to this case.
