World Physiotherapy Day celebrated at rehabilitation Centre

Kendrapada: The 8th of September every year is celebrated as World Physiotherapy Day. On this occasion, an awareness program has been held at the Rehabilitation Center in Madhupur by ‘Rehabilitation’, the leading voluntary organization of Kendrapara.

The day highlighted the benefits of regular physiotherapy treatment, especially for children with cerebral palsy. In this program, senior physician Dr. Biswaprakash Kanungo attended and advised the parents present on the care of their special child. As the chief guest, District Social Security Officer Prabhas Chandra Das urged everyone to take advantage of this project funded by the state government.

Shwapnashun Das, Chairman of Nimayu Charan Mansik Angrasar, attended. Sanjib Kumar Jena, coordinator of the institute conducted the program while Manoj Kumar Rout gave the vote of thanks. Physiotherapists Anita Barik and Kamalakant Biswal gave information about the approach of Day. On behalf of the Centre, Ranjan Kumar helped him in managing the program.
