Blood cascade in Antarctica!

Antarctica: There are many such mysteries in the world, for which scientists are constantly researching to solve them. Research on the origin of life has always been the favorite subject of scientists. Regarding the origin of life, sometimes NASA’s James Webb Telescope roams in space, and sometimes Hubble Telescope takes pictures of young stars in space, but this time some researchers are looking for it on Earth itself. In Victoria Land in East Antarctica, scientists saw a place where a stream of blood was seen flowing.

This waterfall has been flowing in Antarctica for many decades, but when the scientists found it, everyone was surprised to see it. When scientists examined a sample of it, it was found that the taste of this red water is salty but it looks like blood. Some researchers believe that life may exist under this glacier. Let us tell you that this glacier has been discovered near Taylor Glacier in Victoria Land, which is a very dangerous place.

This blood fall was discovered in 1911 by American zoologist Griffith Tyler. This waterfall is as high as a five-story building. Many reasons are given behind the red color of this waterfall. According to the first theory, the researcher believed that the lake flowing under the glacier turned into ice and due to the crack in the glacier, the flow of water started coming out. With this, the iron oxide present in the water became red after coming in contact with the air, due to which the color of its water started to look like blood.

In 2009, the researcher believed that its water is red due to microorganisms present under the glacier. Some researchers believe that the bacteria found here are living their life without photosynthesis. You will be surprised to know that the temperature of this place is -7 degree Celsius and the microorganisms found here are bacteria of the sub-glacial ecosystem.
