Asia Cup 2022: India & Pakistan Face-Off In Super Four

Dubai: India and Pakistan go head to head in their first match of the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai on Sunday.

The two teams earlier faced off in their respective opening games of the tournament, where India emerged victorious, thanks to an all-round effort from Hardik Pandya.

India have so far won both their games in the Asia Cup against Pakistan and Hong Kong while the Babar Azam-led side lost against India and sealed a huge win over Hong Kong to grab the last 4 spot.

Super King Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the tournament with an injury with India naming Axar Patel as his replacement. Pakistan’s Shahnawaz Dahani has been ruled out of the high octane clash with an injury.

The two teams have gone head to head 10 times in the shortest format with India emerging victorious on eight occasions while Pakistan have won twice. India also boasts a superior record in the Asia Cup, winning nine and losing five against Pakistan.
