FIFA suspends the Indian Football Federation

New Delhi: World football governing body FIFA has suspended the Indian Football Federation (AIFF) with immediate effect due to third-party interference. The decision has been taken due to a gross violation of FIFA rules. On the other hand, the Durand cup is going to start in Kolkata on Tuesdays, August 16.

Bangalore FC team will meet Jamshedpur FC on the second day. Eleven Indian Super League (ISL) clubs are participating in the tournament.
