India Thump South Africa To Seal Final Slot In Blind T20 World Cup

Bengaluru: Ajay Kumar Reddy and Sunil Ramesh put on strong all-around performances to help India advance to the final by defeating South Africa by 207 runs in the first semifinal of the third Blind T20 Cricket World Cup at the Samprasiddhi Sports Estadio Cricket Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday.

Captain Ajay Kumar Reddy struck an explosive 81 and added three wickets, whereas, Sunil Ramesh hit his second century of the competition.

In response, South Africa was never able to gather steam to chase the total. The Indian bowling onslaught pinned them back, and they frequently lost wickets.

The best bowler was Ajay Kumar Reddy, who took three wickets. Sunil Ramesh and Lokesh both grabbed one wicket each.

Three run-outs were also inflicted on the South African innings by the Indians, who were very strong in the field.
