India Vs South Africa 1st T20I: Fan Breaches Security to Touch Rohit’s Feet

Thiruvananthapuram: On September 28, a colossal cutout of Rohit Sharma was installed near the venue to welcome the Indian captain for the first T20I against the Proteas. The event happened at Greenfield International Stadium during India’s fielding inning when a fan violated security and ran into the arena approaching his idol and attempting to touch his feet.

It seemed like Rohit tried to stop him from touching his feet but in vain. The spectator hurriedly stood up and left as he was being pursued by security.

It is noteworthy that India being a cricket-crazy nation has had many such incidents reported before and this is not the first time that Rohit has had a fan rush to the ground to greet him.
