Sourav Ganguly To Lead India For Special Legends League Of Cricket Match

Mumbai: Current Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly will lead India Maharajas against World Giants in a special Legends League Cricket (LLC) match on September 16.

This season of the Legends League Cricket is to be dedicated to the 75th year celebration of Indian Independence.

This tie will be played hosted by the Eden Gardens where former England captain Eoin Morgan will lead World Giants.

The second edition of the LLC will commence a day after the special match — from September 16, which will see four teams taking part in a franchise-based format.

Overall, 15 matches will be played this season over a period of 22 days.
