Dehradun: In a startling incident at AIIMS Rishikesh, police drove a vehicle into a hospital ward in pursuit of a man accused of harassing a doctor. The dramatic scene, captured in a 26-second viral video, revealed the police’s fervent pursuit of the accused within the hospital premises.

The video depicted the police vehicle navigating through the congested emergency ward, disregarding the presence of patients lying in beds on either side. The incident has sparked widespread concern over the safety and well-being of patients in medical facilities.

Following the arrest of the nursing officer implicated in the harassment case, resident doctors voiced their outrage and called for the immediate termination of his employment. Their protest gathered momentum as they gathered outside the office of the Dean (Academics), chanting slogans to demand justice for the assaulted doctor.

The accused, identified as Satish Kumar, allegedly molested the doctor on Sunday evening within the hospital premises. Additionally, he reportedly sent lewd and inappropriate text messages to her, further escalating the seriousness of the incident.
