Was It Russian Or Ukrainian? Mystery Over Missile That Fell In Poland

A stray missile from the Russia-Ukraine war zone suddenly fell at Przewodow village of Poland a few kilometers away from the Ukrainian border, killing two persons.

Polish foreign ministry immediately summoned the Russian ambassador alleging that it was a Russian missile.

But quoting reports Reuters has claimed that this stray missile was not a Russian one. It was fired by Ukrainian forces at an incoming Russian missile. The real identity of the missile that hit Polish village is yet to be ascertained.

The blast caused by this missile in Poland led to an emergency meeting at the G20 summit continuing in Bali, Indonesia. The meeting was attended by US president Joe Biden, leaders of major NATO countries, and Japan. Biden said the early information suggests the blast may not have been caused by a missile fired from Russia.

Poland’s president Andrzej Duda, also remarked that there was no clear evidence of who fired the missile.

But Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had earlier claimed that two Russian missiles hit Poland.
