Daughter Donates Kidney to Lalu Yadav, Says ‘Ready to Rock and Roll”

New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Yadav is all set to get a new lease of life because of his daughter Rohini Acharya, who is donating her kidney to him.

Rohini’s operation is being done to collect one of her kidneys that will be transplanted in Lalu’s body.

Ahead of her operation, Rohini uploaded a pre-surgery photo with her father on Twitter. She said she is “Ready to rock and roll” and urged all to wish her good luck.

Lalu suffers from kidney-related problems and was advised for a transplant.

Rohini is the second daughter of Lalu. She resides in Singapore. In the past, she had tweeted “My mother and father are God to me. I can do anything for them.”

Convicted and jailed in fodder scam cases, Lalu is now on bail due to health problems.
