Arjun Munda Launches Scathing Attack On Odisha Govt Over Naba Das Murder Probe

Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Arjun Munda on Saturday slammed the Odisha government over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

The reaction of the Union Minister came after Odisha Minister Naba Das’s murder took place in Jharsuguda by ASI Gopal Das.

Launching a scathing attack on the Naveen Patnaik-led Odisha government, Munda said, “Such a change in the mindset of a man in uniform leading him to attack and kill a state minister raises questions. After a fair probe, findings should be made public.”

“This is a major concern for the law and order situation of the State. If a state minister could be gunned down in broad daylight, then what would be the condition of the common people in the State? Whom will the common people trust? I believe, the investigation of the case should be handed over to an independent agency and the findings should be made public,” Munda added.

Meanwhile, six days have passed since the gruesome killing of Health Minister Naba Das and the Crime Branch is yet to make any headway in the case.
