Wife Elopes with Her Lover; Husband Weds Lover’s Wife as Revenge

Patna: Although it may seem to be the story of a Bollywood movie, a man in Bihar married the wife of a person, who eloped with his wife. It was his mode of revenge on his wife and the person she ran away with. This bizarre incident occurred in Bihar’s Khagaria district.

According to ETV Bharat, a woman named Ruby Devi married a man named Neeraj in 2009. The couple had four children together. But Neeraj found that his wife Ruby was having an extra-marital affair with a man named Mukesh, who was also married with two children.

In February 2022, Ruby and Mukesh got married. Ruby’s husband Neeraj filed a police complaint against Mukesh for kidnapping his wife. Mukesh and Ruby refused to comply. They are said to be absconding.

To take revenge on Mukesh, the estranged husband Neeraj decided to marry Mukesh’s wife. Ironically, the wife of Mukesh is also named Ruby.

Neeraj and Mukesh’s wife got married in February 2023. The news of these bizarre marriages has caught the attention of netizens on social media. They find a similarity between this real-life story with that of Bollywood movie ‘Aznabee’.
