Teacher Molests 18 Girls in Govt School of UP with support of Principal

Lucknow: Mohammad Ali, a government school teacher from Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur district was arrested for allegedly molesting at least 18 girls. The accused was a computer teacher in the school. The principal of the school and an assistant teacher have also been charged for supporting the accused.

The three accused were booked under sections of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, the IPC and the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.

In a secondary school located in Tilhar police station limits of Shahjahanpur district, the arrested computer teacher was molesting minor girl students. He was supported by the principal Anil Pathak and another teacher named Sajia. The village head Lalta Prasad registered a complaint against all the accused at Tilhar police station.

When a girl told her parents about the misdeed of the computer teacher, a group of parents raided the school and recovered used condoms from the school’s toilet. Officials of the education department suspended the principal along with the assistant teacher.

Uttar Pradesh minister Baldev Singh Aulakh condemned the incident and said that strict action should be taken against the accused.
