Scrub Typhus Cases Rise to 169 in Sundargarh, 7 New cases in 24 Hrs

Sundargarh: Seven new positive cases of Scrub Typhus infection were detected in Odisha’s Sundargarh district during the last 24 hours. With it the total number of Scrub Typhus cases in Sundargarh rose to 169.

Till now one person has died due to this lethal infection,

According to Sundargarh CDMO, ample stock of medicines is available for the Scrub Typhus patients and a special team of doctors is attending to the patients.

The ANM and Asha workers in Sundargarh district have been directed to spread public awareness about the deadly disease and precautions to prevent it.
