Woman Dies in Road Accident in Odisha’s Capital, Range Rover Driver Arrested

Bhubaneswar: A woman named Lopamudra Sahu lost her life in a road accident involving a Range Rover SUV near Power House Chhak in Odisha’s capital on October 31.

The accident occurred when the SUV collided with a motorcycle carrying Sahu and retired CRPF jawan Kanhucharan Nayak. Both individuals suffered severe injuries and were admitted to the Capital Hospital.

Sahu’s condition worsened, and she was transferred to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and subsequently to a private hospital in the city. However, she succumbed to her injuries on November 3.

Nayak remains in critical condition. The police have arrested Soubhagya Kumar Bag, the driver of the SUV involved in the accident.
