Additionally, OMC allocates 3% of its net profit to the Sports and Youth Services Department for sports development in Odisha.

Noteworthy initiatives include providing employment to 12 sportspersons, supporting budding athletes, contributing to sports infrastructure development across the state, and fostering talent within local communities. This holistic approach has left a lasting impact on Odisha’s sporting ecosystem, solidifying the state’s position as the sports capital of India.

The Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar, presented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, acknowledges OMC’s commitment to sports development beyond business realms. The award recognizes corporate entities, Sports Control Boards, NGOs, and sports bodies for their visible role in promoting and developing sports at the state and national levels.
